Saptools’ previous language training efforts struggled with low staff engagement. To address this, they sought an online language training provider with virtual classes led by professional coaches and an online exercise platform. Challenge

Saptools’ consultants needed easily accessible English and French language training that worked across all devices. Additionally, the company required training subsidies from Fundae, Spain’s public body for promoting corporate training. Since Fundae stipulates that HR departments must monitor training programs, Speexx Manager served as the ideal solution. It provided the necessary analysis and tracking capabilities while meeting all requirements for training subsidy approval through comprehensive reporting and monitoring tools.

Solution

In 2022, Saptools initiated its partnership with Speexx, implementing 30 Expert Pro licenses to address essential spoken language training needs for their consulting team.

The project’s success relied on comprehensive monitoring: Saptools’ HR department were able to track individual progress through Speexx Manager, while Speexx conducted regular phone follow-ups after reports to ensure alignment with training goals.

Key to the program’s effectiveness were engagement strategies, including regular communication through emails, app reminders, and consistent support. These efforts maintained high user participation throughout the training period to maximize learning outcomes. They also helped achieve business objectives while ensuring continuous engagement from all team members in both virtual and classroom settings.

Outcome

Fundae training bonuses were a crucial requirement for Saptools, and the project won an 81% subsidy through comprehensive measurement and tracking via tools like Speexx Manager. The workforce results achieved between February and October 2023 proved highly positive, exceeding initial expectations. Users booked a total of 52 virtual group classes, and 85% of participants achieved “Champion” status, indicating they consistently spent between 3 to 10 hours monthly training with Speexx.

Most significantly, during this eight-month period, users advanced on average more than one CEFR level, demonstrating the project’s remarkable scope and effectiveness. This substantial improvement in language proficiency validated the program’s success and justified the investment in comprehensive language training, while establishing a benchmark for future corporate training initiatives.
