The collaboration between TESYA Group and Speexx began in 2022 and expanded in 2024 with the launch of LANGUAGE@academy, TESYA’s own online language training platform. This platform is available to all employees of the Group’s Italian companies and includes a customized catalogue of ad-hoc courses. The partnership is characterized by a continuous exchange with HR, engaging gamification activities, microlearning, and consistent data-driven monitoring to track participation and outcomes.

One of TESYA Group’s companies, CGT, had been organizing language courses for its employees and decided to extend this initiative to colleagues from TESYA’s Italian subsidiaries. These include CGT Trucks, CGTE, CLS, Xiber, and recently acquired companies like Alax Automation, Alfaproject, and Degrosolution. To enhance language skills across its entire corporate population, CGT partnered with Speexx as a single provider to deliver a unified, streamlined approach.

It's a genuine data-driven method that enables HR professionals to enhance organizational performance and monitoring through digital sharing of reports and supporting materials across Group companies.

Challenge

Language training has always been crucial to the company, given the Group’s international nature. Speexx primary challenge was to establish itself as a single, comprehensive provider over time. The goal was to deliver innovative training solutions that effectively addressed the diverse and evolving linguistic needs of multinational organizations.

At the same time, Speexx aimed to offer meaningful professional development opportunities to employees across various departments, global teams, and regions.

Solution

Since 2024, the Speexx–TESYA Group collaboration, led by CGT, has strategically implemented innovative on-top solutions with respect to Speexx Smart. This comprehensive solution, adopted by the Group across multiple languages including English, French, Italian, Spanish, and German, provides unlimited access to the advanced e-learning platform, engaging interactive multimedia content, as well as unlimited virtual group classes. As of 2024, a single, meticulously curated catalogue has been made available for all the Group’s Italian companies, including personalized 1:1 or mini-group courses customized and activated on demand according to specific, targeted training needs.

Outcome

The collaboration between Speexx and TESYA Group in the Italian territory is based on three key elements: supporting materials, HR participation, and data. Training is supported by comprehensive videos and presentations that explain course mechanics, significantly improving the overall user experience. Additionally, an annual contest is launched, involving Speexx users and ranking them based on multiple key performance indicators (KPIs). These indicators may include participation in group sessions, platform hours logged, and progression to subsequent language levels.

The role of HR remains crucial, consistently present and collaborative to ensure the project’s success. The Speexx Manager tool, with its constant data-driven focus, allows for measuring the degree of resource engagement and enables targeted interventions to enhance participation where necessary.
